Duplication vs. Replication
Duplication refers to "burning" copies of discs (CD, DVD, or Blu-ray) where Replication refers to mass production, or "pressing" the discs. Duplication is usually reserved for shorter runs, or quantities of 500 or less, because in larger volumes, replication is more cost effective. We've found 400 units to be pretty close to the break-even point. We can generally turn a duplication run in 1-3 days.
Blank Media Quality
Not all blank media is created equal. There are two main factors that make a big difference in the quality: (1) the ink dye, and (2) the print surface. The ink dye is important because for every bit of data ,the light of the laser will either be reflected back to the sensor on the player, or it will be absorbed by the ink dye. A superior ink will last longer, and will be easier for the laser to read (equals less read errors). The print surface is important because it has a direct impact on the finished look of the disc. We stock only the highest quality blank media for CD, DVD, and Blu-ray. We do not duplicate DVD-9 discs. If you have a DVD-9, we recommend replication.

Prices are for bulk discs (just the discs on a spindle). Add $0.10/each for windowed paper sleeves. Add $0.20/each for slimline jewel cases with no insert.
